The Price Administrator has filed a brief as amicus curiae in support of defendants claim that the judgment must be reversed because it contravenes the Emergency Price Control Act of 1942, as amended (56 Stats. 23, 50 U.S.C.A., App., ? 901 et seq.) and the Rent Regulation for Housing (8 F.R. 7322) promulgated thereunder. The record sustains that position.
